Join NIHAO Cultural Arts Center’s 2026 Culture Experience Free Online Class, a fun and interactive Mandarin cultural enrichment series designed for children ages 5–9. Held online on Fridays from 4:50–5:20 PM, this special four-week experience introduces students to beloved Chinese 成語故事 (chéngyǔ stories) through storytelling, discussion, games, and engaging cultural activities.
Students will explore famous stories such as 《孟母三遷》 (Mèng Mǔ Sān Qiān), 《守株待兔》 (Shǒu Zhū Dài Tù), 《完璧歸趙》 (Wán Bì Guī Zhào), and 《毛遂自薦》 (Máo Suì Zì Jiàn), while learning beginner-friendly Mandarin vocabulary and phrases connected to each lesson. Beyond language learning, each story encourages children to reflect on important values such as wisdom, perseverance, initiative, honesty, patience, and good character in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
